Since donating blood twice I have tried insulin again, and have also
tried real kefir cultured from kefir grains.
I tolerated both very well. Some of you may recall that I was never able
to take either without diarrhea and other GI problems, gas, etc.

Now 3 days short of 4 weeks after my second blood donation, the
improvements keep on.
My dose of T3 thyroid is down to around 10 mcg., my HC dose is reduced
to 26 mg.
I don’t know yet if any of these benefits will last, or if I will be
able to keep reducing the thyroid or HC, Maybe I will have to raise
either or both again, if something else turns out to be causing these
improvements.

Since the second donation I have been able to add much needed
progesterone also, and doing well with that too. Never did well with it
before though I had a complete hyster 20 years ago.

It looks to me like the excess iron, though not extreme, causes a whole
host of problems in the body, messing up the thyroid, and probably the
entire endocrine system, and the GI too. I have read that it causes a
LOT of inflammation.

Eliminate sugary drinks, candies, and sweet pastries from your diet and you should notice a difference in your yeast infection within a week.

If your yeast infection is still persisting a few weeks after these changes, start removing simple carbohydrates from your food intake, too. Simple carbs break down easily into sugar in your digestive system, further fueling the candida to growth. These include most fruits, jams, and biscuits.

Throughout your anti-candida diet changes, you should be eating plain, unsweetened yogurt several times a day, or taking pro-biotic pills if your digestive system has recently been wiped out by taking anti-biotics. Both methods replace good bacteria in your body that naturally control candida.

Do you know why you’re <span style=”font-weight: bold;”>still getting yeast infections? Click here to find out.

<div style=”text-align: justify;”><span style=”font-weight: bold;”>Natural Yeast Infection Remedies

<a style=”font-weight: bold;” href=”http://mychoices.dmhmd.hop.clickbank.net/?tid=BLOG”>Natural yeast infection remedies are extremely useful against yeast infection. Many women and men alike are turning to natural remedies for yeast infection because of its health benefit as compared to over-the-counter medications and creams containing clotrimazole (Gyne-Lotrimin, Femizole-7 and others), miconazole (Monistat-Derm, Monistat 7, Monistat Vaginal and others), tioconazole (Vagistat Vaginal), fluconazole (Diflucan) and butoconazole (Femstat 3). Nystatin and amphotericin B are also antifungal agents found in some OTC or prescribed medications.

Though they are effective, as usual, over-the-counter medications that treat skin surfaces have been associated with potential side effects like skin dryness, redness, peeling, discoloration and allergies. Natural yeast infection remedies heal yeast infection using extracts of nature and natural dietary practices. If you suffer from recurrences of yeast infection, you may apply some of these remedies and find freedom from yeast infection completely. If you are not sure, consult with your doctor to assess your condition.

Dietary changes are important if you want to seek permanent healing from yeast infection. Recommended foods include:

1. Fresh fruits and vegetables

2. Meats with low saturated fat content like poultry and fish

3. Whole grains

4. Olive oil

5. Nuts

6. Flax seeds

Avoid the following foods:

1. Alcohol

2. Caffeine

3. Saturated Fats

4. Junk food such as fast foods and carbonated drinks

5. Processed Foods

6. Sugar

7. Dairy products

8. Margarine

<a style=”font-weight: bold;” href=”http://mychoices.dmhmd.hop.clickbank.net/?tid=BLOG”>Natural yeast infection remedies that can be prepared from home include tea tree oil, vinegar douches, garlic, cranberries, hydrogen peroxide, sodium sorbate, gentian violet and boric acid. Preparation of these natural yeast infection remedies are as follows:

Boric acid can be used as suppositories for insertion into the vagina every night for about 1 week.

Drinking cranberry juice will lower the pH of your urine and the acidity inhibits yeast infection from spreading.

Garlic can be wrapped in a gauze or cloth and inserted into the vagina before sleeping. Remember to tie up the ends with dental floss for ease of extraction.

Potassium sorbate is in powder form. You will need to mix about 10 gm of potassium sorbate in 300 gm of water. Dip a tampon into the solution and insert it into the vagina and leave it overnight. Stop once the yeast infection recedes.

The same preparation applies to hydrogen peroxide except that the solution should be used as a douche once daily until the yeast infection stops. Hydrogen peroxide is an effective natural remedy against yeast infection.

Yoghurt kills yeast by producing hydrogen peroxide. Use this as a topical medication directly to the vulva and vagina once or twice daily until the yeast infection ceases.

Tea tree oil can be used together with a lubricant such as olive oil or KY jelly as a solution for immersion of a tampon before insertion into the vagina.

<span style=”font-weight: bold; color: rgb(0, 0, 153);”>These are helpful <a style=”font-weight: bold; color: rgb(0, 0, 153);” href=”http://mychoices.dmhmd.hop.clickbank.net/?tid=BLOG”>natural yeast infection remedies<span style=”font-weight: bold; color: rgb(0, 0, 153);”> that have brought relief to women and men who are suffering from yeast infection. Though not life threatening, yeast infections can greatly affect your quality of life—and may indicate more serious health problems. This is why it’s [...]

These are a great snack food and they are the only way I like to eat kale. Something about the baking process changes the flavor and takes away some of the bitterness. You can swap out a lot of the ingredients in this recipe - if you don’t have white wine vinegar, you could use lemon juice or another vinegar. If you don’t have olive oil you could use a different oil. Also, you can use curly or flat kale here. Feel free to experiment.

Kale Chips

Rating: 0

Created: May 1, 2012 6:57:58 PM

If I was making these vegan "tasting cookies" for company, I’d use a good white port, but I’ve made them with regular tawny and they were delicious as well. They’re not overly sweet, but great to put on a cheese tray with fruit and crackers after dinner.

Port and Sesame Biscuits

Rating: 0

Created: Apr 29, 2012 11:09:44 PM
